Nichole Carey Sings: A Retrospective 

Accomplished local vocalist Nichole Carey returns to the lounge at the Black Hart for a fun and reflective retrospective of her musical career. A staple of the Twin Cities cabaret community for 10 years, join us for an eclectic evening of some of her favorite songs sung over the last decade. You’ll hear an array of classics by such famous artists as Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Carole King, Harold Arlen, the Beatles, and many more! 

With Musical Director Blake Brauer at the piano and Kevin Ihnen on bass. 

Based in St. Paul, Nichole has performed at a wide variety of Twin Cities venues over the years, including Jazz Central, Honey, Vieux Carré, Crooners, the Acadia, the Minnesota Music Cafe, and the Dakota Jazz Club. She has also taken her cabaret shows out of state, having performed at Davenport’s Piano Bar and Cabaret in Chicago and at the historic Duplex Cabaret in New York City. Most recently, she played to a sold-out house at the Bryant Lake Bowl as part of her annual Christmas cabaret, which has also sold out the last two previous seasons. Nichole is a member of the Twin Cities Cabaret Artist Network, as well as an alum of the prestigious International Cabaret Conference at Yale University.
