Threshold Theater Play Reading Series

PLAYING MARCH 26th
"Lemuria"

In Lemuria, Professor Anabelle Katz-Carver, the greatest primatologist since Jane Goodall, runs her elite research lab as a strict matriarchy. After grooming potential successors for decades, she’s finally ready to choose an heir — but in the animal kingdom and in our own, how does a queen pass the crown on to another queen? Lemuria is an inheritance drama about dominance, queer Southern scientists, academic lineage, sex, and - yes - lemurs.
